the pool at KRS in the Kimberley was our only relief from the murderous heat - 300 days a year over 85 degrees F and 65 days over 100 Degrees F! my memory of the pool was a bunch of noonga (aboriginal) kids and some white kids (research families) playing the tricycle races across the bottom of the pool - a cut down cement water tank!
