.the portuguese have a remarkable attitude towards children reflected in the preponderance of playgrounds, where all vacant public space is full of play equipment; there is also a complete miniature village for the kids to romp around on, made of reproductions of portuguese architecture from across the world.

BIG chance of going to scotland in aug/sept for a chess in schools conference! csc have an award for os travel- and didnt spend it all last year! got a DEET scholarship to do a masters with offer of phd! bloody jeezus. HOW DID I GET HERE????
